Charter Renewal Announcement Hello Wildflower Families, Wednesday evening, February 21, is an important night for Wildflower! Chico Unified School District Board will be making a decision concerning our charter renewal. Our charter gets renewed every five years, and this is part of the required process for Wildflower and all charter schools. This is the final meeting that will occur for our renewal process. Your presence and support is always appreciated. The meeting will begin at 6pm at Marsh Jr. High, 2253 Humboldt Road, Chico, CA 95928. If possible, it would be great to see your family there wearing your Wildflower shirts and colors!

Open House is just a week away! Weds, January 31 9am-2pm. Tell your friends! Any prospective Kindergarten or TK families interested in seeing the Kinder classroom, be sure to come by before 11:15!

Please join us for the Town Hall/WCC Meeting on Wednesday, January 24 at 5:30pm.  The Town Hall meeting will discuss general school topics, and the WCC will address Music Education at Wildflower.  Since we know everyone is busy, it will be an easy potluck. Bring your favorite appetizer, finger food, or salad to share with everyone. Please bring your own drink, and Wildflower will provide a Town Hall tasty treat. Childcare is provided with pizza for the kids, but please send your child with a waterbottle.

Evening Parent Volunteer Opportunity Wednesday, Dec. 13th! Don't forget to stop by between 5 & 7 to get some of your volunteer/co-opping hours in. Last month we had 5 parents (and 3 students!) participate and they were able to get some great work done in the classrooms. These evening co-opping events take place once a month, the next one is scheduled for Thursday, January 18th. Childcare is available for those volunteering their time!
